Gloria Baker

A champion race car driver and black belt in kung fu. Occupation: racer/sensei.

Gloria Baker was the team's only female member. She was primarily used on missions for her vehicle Shark. Gloria was the dainty background female similar to cover Girl from G.I.JOE. Gloria was a Champion Racecar driver (ran in the Indianapolis 500) as well as a Black-Belt in Kung Fu. Gloria's love life is the speculation of some controversy. In one episode of the regular cartoon, Gloria goes on vacation to Las Vegas with Matt Trakker and seems to be very irritated when they are interrupted at dinner. In contrast in the first episode of the Racing seres cartoons, she seems to have feelings for Buddy "Clutch" Hawks, but then again the Racing seres cartoons are mostly crap on a stick IMO.

Nevada Rushmore

An American Indian and Matt Trakker's childhood friend.
Nevada Rushmore was a character added in the third "Racing Seres" seres of M.A.S.K. cartoons and toys (this means that the character didn't get much screen time). "Chief" Nevada Rushmore was the Native American of the M.A.S.K. Team. He spoke in broken English and wore a feather in his headband. He was a childhood friend of Matt Tacker.

Ali Bombay

An immigrant from Kandukar, India.Ali Bombay was a character added in the third "Racing Seres" seres of M.A.S.K. cartoons and toys (this means that the character didn't get much screen time). Ali Bombay was the typical Indian stereotype right down to the turban. He came from a small village in India, which was featured in an episode.

Boris Bushkin

A big, burly, bald, bearded Russian who was a former VENOM agent who defected to MASK.

Boris Bushkin was a character added in the third "Racing Seres" seres of M.A.S.K. cartoons and toys (this means that the character didn't get much screen time). Boris "The Czar" Bushkin was the grizzled Russian similar to Zangife from the video game seres Street Fighter. He called everyone comrade, and had either the M.A.S.K. m tattooed on the back of his head, or his hair was shaved that way. Boris was a former V.E.N.O.M. member who defected to M.A.S.K.

Jacques LaFleur

A natural disaster specialist and martial arts master. Occupation: Lumberjack. Hometown: Québec, Canada.

Jacques LaFleur was a character added in the second seres of M.A.S.K. cartoons and toys (this means that the character didn't get much screen time). Jacques was a French-Canadian lumberjack, and spoke with a heavy French accent.

Ace Riker

Former NASA test pilot. Works at a hardware store.

Ace Riker was a character added in the second seres of M.A.S.K. cartoons and toys (this means that the character didn't get much screen time). Ace Riker was possibly the oldest member of the team because he drove around in an RV like he was retired (the toy also had gray hair). Ace owned a hardware store, and talked allot like John Wayne Ace is also an exceptional pilot, and a former NASA test pilot. All of his vehicles included a jet of some kind.

Ace Riker is sometimes called Ace Striker in the cartoons and print media. Riker however is the name listed on the toy packaging.

Julio Lopez

Expert in languages and cryptography. He is of Latino descent. Occupation: doctor.Julio Lopez was a character added in the second seres of M.A.S.K. cartoons and toys (this means that the character didn't get much screen time). Julio Lopez was another member of the team that broke stereotypes. Julio was a doctor during the day and very knowledgeable on missions, well versed in most natural science.

Calhoun Burns

A construction and demolition specialist. He works as an architect and enjoys raising horses.Calhoun Burns was a character added in the second seres of M.A.S.K. cartoons and toys (this means that the character didn't get much screen time). Calhoun was a southern gentleman (although where from no one really knows). During his time away from the team he was an architect and bred horses.

Hondo MacLean

Weapons specialist and tactical strategist. Occupation: history teacher.
Hondo MacLean was M.A.S.K.s token black guy. But unlike the common African American stereotypes so prevalent in the 80's, Hondo was not the jive talking background character. He was a quiet mostly under used background character. Hondo was a high school teacher, who taught history (probably some military history as well contributing to his position as team strategist). In a scene from the cartoon Hondo is seen not coaching high school football, but actually playing in full pads, this however can be written off as part of practice I guess.

Brad Turner

Expert hill climber, rock musician, motorcycle and helicopter pilot.
Brad Turner was the cool, sunglass wearing iceman of the group. Brad had hands down the coolest day job of the M.A.S.K. Team. He was a guitarist in an 80's rock band. His band must have been somewhat popular too because they played the Hollywood Bowl and groupies lined up after their shows. During the racing seres he switched careers and stated driving a Winston Cup style stock car.

Dusty Hayes

Auto and marine stunt driver, all-terrain specialist and tracking and demolition expert. Occupation: pizza cook.


Dusty Hayes is your stereotypical cowboy. He is a expert on a horse and quick with corny lines. Dusty tended to use the "Electric Ouch" cannon on his vehicle Gator, and would usually go out of his way to point out he was using, just to say "Electric Ouch". Dusty was a pizza delivery man during the day.

Buddy Hawks

A master of disguise and intelligence expert. Occupation: mechanic. As an action figure, Hawks originally came with the Boulder Hill playset.

Buddy "Clutch" Hawks was M.A.S.K.s master of disguise and mechanic. He had ties to the underworld and various criminal organizations. He was a street smart tough guy. His job outside of missions was the attendant and mechanic at Bolder Hill, M.A.S.K.'s secret headquarters.
